At Kaisersberg, our miners do exactly that, every single day. Penetrating some 800 meters into the mountain, our specialists mine microcrystalline graphite with skill and professionalism. Graphite has been mined in Kaisersberg for centuries, though Grafitbergbau Kaisersberg is the only active graphite mine in the Alps today.
The Kaisersberg product portfolio includes all standard graphite qualities, although we mainly specialize in ultra-fine graphite milling. Different milling techniques influence the particle morphology, optimize particle size and produce graphite with the desired characteristics.
